new project

so i have started my final project at uni and i have chosen to make the hornet from halo 3. the model is going to be a toy prototype for the 6" Mcfarlane halo toy range

second year project of the XGP from outlaw star

here is a model i made for one of my second year projects, i have always loved the anime show outlaw star and jumped at the chance to make the xgp as a model.

its made from high density yellow foam and the engines are made from the same but cast using silicone and fast cast resin so they are exact.

district 9 gun pics






here you can see the lighting mechanism i didnt get it nicely finished as a put it all together an hour before the deadline. i was happy that it worked but not as the power of the batterys was not high enough to get the full brightness i wanted

i will post a pic of it working but at the moment ive taken it apart for transport.

i can post some of the making of pictures if people would like to see whats inside
